Why Invest?

Child maltreatment has a cost. Each year, the United States pays a staggering $80 billion to address the fallout from child abuse and neglect. In addition to the immediate cost from medical and mental health treatment, unaddressed trauma results in hidden emotional wounds that increase susceptibility to substance abuse and other risks that undermine success in life.

It is far less expensive to invest in primary prevention and response programs and it creates a healthier, safer community overall. Addressing childhood trauma early in life increases the likelihood of survivors being able to recover and succeed in school and in life. Your investment in our services provides hope and healing for children who need our care.

Our Impact in 2025

Liberty House started in 1999 with a small building, a handful of employees, and one program- the Clinic- with the ability to see one to two children per day.

As a result of years of intentional work, we now help over 1,000 children per year! We now have four major outward facing programs: Our Clinic, Hope & Wellness Therapy, Prevention Education, and Community Engagement.

Help Us Reach Our Goal!

Investing in Hope will ensure Liberty House has the capacity to provide the life-changing and, in some cases, life-saving care that children need to heal after trauma. This funding will help where the need is greatest. Be part of the healing team!
